This kit provides the hardwood to make a beautifully simple box for giving or keeping. The finished piece will measure approximately 5.5" wide by 9" long by 4.5" high.  

The pieces are not pre-cut or mitered.

We offer this kit in four different species The material is surfaced and ripped to the stock sizes listed below. From there, you cut and fit the pieces to create your classic wooden keepsake box. 

The species and their respective dimensions are: 

      Black Walnut - 2 pieces .5" x 3.5" x 17" for the 4 sides, 1 piece .75" x 5.5" x 20" for the top and bottom.

      Curly Maple - 2 pieces .5" x 3.5" x 17" for the 4 sides, 1 piece .75" x 5.5" x 20" for the top and bottom.

      Curly Cherry - 2 pieces .5" x 3.5" x 17" for the 4 sides, 1 piece .75" x 5.5" x 20" for the top and bottom.

      White Oak - 2 pieces Plain Sawn .5" x 3.5" x 17" for the 4 sides, 1 piece Quarter Sawn .75" x 5.5" x 20" for the top and bottom.
