Pennsylvania Black Cherry is world renowned. Our cherry product is laid up as 90/50 for color, meaning every board is at least 90% red heart face and 50% back face. Most pieces have a higher % of heart red color. The creamy wood is the sapwood. Cherry may develop black gum streaks and cat paws (cluster knots) These are very minute knots that may occur in an occasional piece.
